Tons and tons and tons of emails asking about the sixth GHOST HUNTRESS book, THE JOURNEY, and when it will be out!

I’m working on it!  LOL!

It takes time to write a book, have it edited, and publish it…so I promise I will keep you all posted.  2011 was a little crazy for me with my wedding, honeymoon, and the holidays, but I assure you that I *am* hanging out in my head with Kendall, Celia, Becca, Taylor, Jason, Patrick, and some new characters, as well as old ones.

What would you like to see in THE JOURNEY?  What are you looking forward to the most?

Who will win Kendall’s heart in the end?

Of course, there’s our heroine, the fiesty Kendall Moorehead.  She fell into this quite by accident because of her psychic awakening.  However, she’s coming into her own.

Then there’s Celia Nichols.  A bit of a geek, but smart, cute, and a sizable allowance to boot to pay for ghost hunting equipment.  Celia seems like the girl who’s trying to find her way in the world.

Taylor Tillson is the group’s photographer.  She was gone for a while when she had to move to Alaska because of her mom’s illness, but she’s back and ready to snap more ghostly photos.

Becca Asiaf is the beauty-queen-turned-goth when she lost her grandmother and then began questioning things herself.  She’s found herself through music and djing and using her excellent ear to keep track of the group’s EVPs.

Loreen Woods is the mentor of the group and does all she can to support Kendall and her friends when she’s not too distracted by her hunky boyfriend, Father Massimo.

Shelby-Nicole Holt stepped up to the plate and snapped photos for the group when Taylor was away.  Shelby-Nicole has experienced her own ghostly encounters, so hunting them gets a little too real for her at times.

The Puckett triplets were introduced to Kendall in THE COUNSELING when she went out to California for an enlightened teen’s retreat.  Maddie, Erin, and Harper all possess sixths senses, each feeling, seeing, or hearing what spirits do.

So, who’s your favorite?  Who would you like to see more of?

A lot of people are emailing and asking when it’s going to be out and more details.  Here’s what I can tell you:

- I hope to have GHOST HUNTRESS: THE JOURNEY, book 6, out before the end of the year, depending on my schedule. 

- Because my publisher has decided NOT to publish any more GHOST HUNTRESS books—I have no control over my publisher’s decision—I will be publishing them myself as digital ebooks.

- The books will be uploaded in epub and mobi format and made available to customers through Apple’s iBookstore, Amazon, Sony, Kobo and Barnes and Noble and will be available at a more affordable price.

- If you don’t have an ereader, you can read it on your phone if you have the proper app.  Check your phone requirements.

- Will your library have it?  Probably not, unless they carry ereaders for people to check out.

- What’s it about?  Well, I’m still working on that! ; )

This may not be ideal for everyone, but it’s the ONLY way to continue the series, which I greatly want to do.  I’ll keep you posted on the release through my newsletter. 

I have gotten soooooooo much email from you awesome fans asking if there’s going to be a GHOST HUNTRESS movie.  Here’s what I can tell you:

- my awesome agent sold the rights to the first three GHOST HUNTRESS books to Shoulderhill Entertainment.  They have been working hard the last eighteen months to hire a screen writer to come up with a treatment to shop around Hollywood.

- Shoulderhill Entertainment just recently renewed their rights on the GHOST HUNTRESS series for another eighteen months.

- Shoulderhill Entertainment has two screenwriters on board with the project and they’ve written a treatment (screenplay/idea taken from the book) to begin shopping to movie and television companies

- At the present time, there is NO movie….yet.  But keep checking back and you know I’ll keep you posted!
